House Rules

Thank you for choosing to stay with us. Maison Trianon 1928 is a privately owned home located in a residential neighbourhood. We ask that all guests respect the property and our neighbours during their stay.

Occupancy

The house can accommodate a maximum of four overnight guests.

Only registered guests included in the reservation are permitted to stay at the property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Parties & Events

Parties, events and large gatherings are not permitted.

Quiet Hours

Please respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum between 10:00pm and 8:00am.

Smoking

Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the house.

Guests wishing to smoke should do so in the garden and dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.

To prevent smoke entering the house, please slide the garden door across behind you. There is no need to fully close it. Please note that the lift-and-slide door can lock when closed, so guests smoking alone should take care not to lock themselves outside.

Heating

The house is heated by a hydronic radiator system controlled by a connected thermostat.

The heating schedule has been carefully configured to provide a comfortable indoor temperature while ensuring the efficient operation of the heating system.

The normal schedule is:

• 19°C during the morning and evening
• 18°C during the day
• 17°C overnight

Should you require an adjustment to the heating schedule, please contact us via the Maison Trianon WhatsApp Group and we will be happy to assist.

Guests must not manually override, reprogram or alter the thermostat settings.

Unauthorised changes to the thermostat can result in excessive energy consumption and unnecessary cycling of the boiler. Any call-out, reprogramming or additional costs resulting from unauthorised alterations may be charged to the guest.

The heating system is designed to maintain a comfortable indoor temperature throughout the property. We recommend appropriate seasonal clothing during the colder months, as is customary in many French homes.

WC & Plumbing

The plumbing in many traditional French houses is a little more delicate than in modern buildings.

Please use only thin toilet paper in the WC.

Do not flush wipes, paper towels, sanitary products, cotton buds, tissues or any other items.

We also recommend flushing twice when required to ensure waste is carried fully to the street sewer. Modern toilets are designed to be water efficient and sometimes do not use enough water to fully clear older drainage systems.

If the WC becomes blocked during your stay, a charge of €350 will apply to cover the plumber, call-out costs and any additional cleaning required.

Should a blockage occur, please contact us immediately via the Maison Trianon WhatsApp Group. We will arrange the necessary assistance.

Damage & Breakages

Please report any damage, breakages or maintenance issues as soon as possible via the Maison Trianon WhatsApp Group.

Waste Disposal

Please follow the waste disposal instructions provided in the Guest Guide.
